Meet Francis Xavier O'Neil
Francis Xavier O'neil was a Hatter in Brooklyn during the late 1800's
From 1885-1886 his shop was here at our very own location of
170 Franklin St.
We met his lovely great-granddaughter who came to see what had become of his shop.

Celebrate Fat Tuesday With US

at Kill Devil Hill
This month it luckily landed on Fat Tuesday. So we are having a Mardi Gras Party!
We will be serving up a New Orleans classic The Hurricane.
The Hurricane was invented by the infamous Pat O'Brian during WWII.
Whiskey was scarce, and bars were forced to order 50 cases of rum in order to get one case of whiskey. Pat O'Brian came up with a drink everyone loved in hopes of depleting his rum supply. O'Brian started his bar during prohibition, when he opened up a speakeasy , secret password to get in "storm's brewin"
Use the secret password and we'll give you some Mardi Gras beads!
